Description
"My recent work includes collections of jewellery, vessels and studio metal. I have produced lighting, furniture and sculptural objects to commission.
The work has developed from a period of research into the production of mixed metal castings. these castings are cut and shaped to be used in the work. I am currently developing interior architectural products.
Inspiration for this work comes from observing materials during the processes of melting, solidifying, crystallisation and erosion. The work involves a processes similar to sedimentation, encapsulation and freezing. encapsulated components are uncovered when the material is cut and shaped, revealing secrets of their geometry."
