Description
Jane Ray is well known and highly regarded in the world of children's books, but she did not originally start her career with this in mind. She began by designing greeting cards for Roger la Borde, for whom she still works. An opulent use of colour is seen in her card designs and illustrations alike and is frequently used to portray 'green' themes, something that is a great concern to Jane. Since starting her career Jane has developed an international reputation.
